Sweeping beaches, towering hilltops, and picturesque vineyards adorn the landscape of Cape Town, dominated by the imposing Table Mountain.
Get some cultural insight at Boschendal Manor & Winery and The Franschhoek Motor Museum. Get outdoors at Clifton Beaches and Twelve Apostles. Take a break from Cape Town with a short trip to Fairview Wine and Cheese in Suider Paarl, about 42 minutes away. There's much more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Bloubergstrand Beach, enjoy the sand and surf at Scarborough Beach, and learn about winemaking at Klein Constantia.

As one of South Africa's most popular beach destinations, the resort town of Plettenberg Bay comes to life in December and January, when the holiday homes fill up with domestic tourists and foreigner visitors.
Visit Holy Trinity Church and Nelson Bay Cave for their historical value. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Buffalo Bay and Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary. Get out of town with these interesting Plettenberg Bay side-trips: Noetzie (in Noetzie) and Knysna (Garden Route (Tsitsikamma, Knysna, Wilderness) National Park, Bollard Bay, & more). There's much more to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre, contemplate the waterfront views at Knysna Lagoon, and learn about winemaking at Plettenvale Wines.
