The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
You've now added Lotte Cinema Dongnae to your itinerary. Change things up with these side-trips from Busan: Cheonmachong Tomb (in Gyeongju), Yangsan Tower (in Yangsan) and Oedo Botania (in Geoje). The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.

The fourth-largest city in South Korea, Daegu sprawls out across a wide, flat valley overlooked by a sacred Buddhist mountain.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Gyeongju World as well as Hyundai Department Store Daegu. A sprawling metropolis and center for research, Daejeon stands as the fifth largest city in South Korea.
Change things up with a short trip to The Independence Hall of Korea in Cheonan (about 1h 35 min away). There's lots more to do: take in the natural beauty of Yuseong Hot Springs, walk around Uam historical Park, get curious at Expo Park, and delve into the lush surroundings at Jangtaesan Natural Forest.

A large coastal city, Gangneung has been historically separated from much of the country because of the long, stretching mountain range that runs parallel to the sea.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Gangneung Jungang Market as well as Alive Heart. Step out of Gangneung with an excursion to Seoraksan National Park in Sokcho--about 1h 45 min away.
