Regarded as the fourth-oldest town in South Africa, Graaff-Reinet represents a well-preserved historic Dutch colonial settlement, set 750 (2,460 ft) above sea level on the banks of the Sundays River.
On the 19th (Tue), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Dutch Reformed Church, Groot Kerk, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St James the Great Church, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Valley of Desolation.
