The city of Leshan sits proudly at the confluence of three rivers, and has become known for its World Heritage Site and importance to Buddhism in the country.
You've now added Mount Emei (Emeishan) to your itinerary. Kick off your visit on the 25th (Sun): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Yuxian Temple and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Mount Emei (Emeishan). With one of the most populated and largest metropolitan areas in the world, Chongqing was the de facto capital of China during World War II.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Tue): examine the collection at Three Gorges Museum and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Huayan Temple of Chongqing. On the 28th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: find something for the whole family at E'ling Park, then steep yourself in history at Ci Qi Kou (Porcelain Village), and then Head underground at Hongya Cave.
