Sweeping beaches, towering hilltops, and picturesque vineyards adorn the landscape of Cape Town, dominated by the imposing Table Mountain.
Visit Robben Island and St Georges Mall for their historical value. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Boulders Beach and Llandudno Beach. Berlin, Germany to Cape Town is an approximately 25-hour flight. The time zone changes from Central European Time to South Africa Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. In December, Cape Town is much warmer than Berlin - with highs of 30°C and lows of 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Hermanus.

Renowned as a premier whale-watching destination, Hermanus grew from a quaint fishing village nestled on Walker Bay.
Kick off your visit on the 6th (Sat): look for gifts at Hemingways of Hermanus, look for gifts at Funky Vibes, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Grotto Beach. On your second day here, identify plant and animal life at Panthera Africa - Big Cat Sanctuary, experience rural life at Klein River Farmstead, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Voelklip Beach.

Enshrouded in lush indigenous forest and surrounding a scenic lagoon of the same name, the Garden Route town of Knysna has plenty to offer.
