Sao Paulo, Brazil to Cape Town is an approximately 25-hour flight. Traveling from Sao Paulo to Cape Town, you'll lose 5 hours due to the time zone difference. In February, Cape Town is little chillier than Sao Paulo - with highs of 80°F and lows of 62°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) to allow time to travel to Plettenberg Bay.

As one of South Africa's most popular beach destinations, the resort town of Plettenberg Bay comes to life in December and January, when the holiday homes fill up with domestic tourists and foreigner visitors.
Get some historical perspective at St Mark's Cathedral, George and Dutch Reformed Mother Church. Get in touch with nature at Birds of Eden and Bollard Bay. Get out of town with these interesting Plettenberg Bay side-trips: Knysna (Buffalo Bay & Brenton on Sea) and Outeniqua Transport Museum (in George). The sprawling city of Port Elizabeth, nestled on the scenic Algoa Bay, draws visitors with its sandy beaches, mild climate, and an enviable location as the gateway to the famous Garden Route.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Sat): tour the pleasant surroundings at Shamwari Game Reserve and then try to win big at The Boardwalk Casino & Entertainment World. On your second day here, examine the collection at Bayworld, make a trip to The Donkin Reserve, then contemplate the long history of Prince Alfred's Guard Memorial, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at St Augustine's Cathedral.

Founded when gold was discovered in the area in the late 19th century, Johannesburg quickly grew into a bustling metropolis, South Africa's largest city and the region's economic hub.
Constitution Hill and Union Buildings will appeal to history buffs. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Apartheid Museum and South Western Townships. Change things up with a short trip to Montecasino in Sandton (about 32 minutes away). Spend the 13th (Tue) spotting exotic species with a safari tour. Pack the 15th (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Gold Reef City.
