The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Take a break from Jeju with a short trip to Seongsan Ilchulbong in Seogwipo, about 1h 20 min away. Next up on the itinerary: Head underground at Manjanggul Cave, get in on the family fun at Hallim Park, go for a walk through Handam Coastal Trail, and kick back and relax at Hamdeok Beach.

Traveling from Jeju in September, expect little chillier with lows of 21°C in Busan. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Gyeongju.

Start off your visit on the 20th (Sun): look for all kinds of wild species at Gyeongju Bird Park, then steep yourself in history at Bulguksa Temple, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Seokguram.
