The capital and largest city of Serbia, cosmopolitan Belgrade sits on the confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers.
Kick off your visit on the 26th (Thu): steep yourself in history at Kalemegdan, test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, take in the exciting artwork at Art for All, then wander the streets of Skadarlija, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Sava Temple (Hram Svetog Save). Here are some ideas for day two: tour the pleasant surroundings at Ada Ciganlija, see the interesting displays at Muzej Nikole Tesle (Nikola Tesla Museum), learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Belgrade Zoo, then shop like a local with Knez Mihailova, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Crkva Svetog Marka.

Istanbul, Turkey to Belgrade is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. You'll gain 2 hours traveling from Istanbul to Belgrade due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Istanbul in December, expect slightly colder with lows of -1°C in Belgrade. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Fri) so you can travel to Sarajevo.

Nearly destroyed by war during the 1990s, the riverside city of Sarajevo now serves as one of the region's major educational, cultural, and commercial hubs.
On the 28th (Sat), steep yourself in history at Bascarsija and then take in the local highlights with Walking tours. On the 29th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, stop by Bazerdzan, explore the world behind art at Galerija 11/07/95, then contemplate the long history of Sebilj Brunnen (Fountain), then get engrossed in the history at War Childhood Museum, and finally don't miss a visit to Sarajevo War Tunnel.

Getting from Belgrade to Sarajevo by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Sun) so you can drive to Kotor.

Kick off your visit on the 30th (Mon): contemplate the waterfront views at Bay of Kotor and then steep yourself in history at Stari Grad Kotor. On the next day, explore the historical opulence of Kotor’s Castle Of San Giovanni, relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, take in the architecture and atmosphere at R.K.C. Gospa od Škrpjela, then get to know the fascinating history of City Walls, and finally see the interesting displays at Namfleg.

You can drive from Sarajevo to Kotor in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. In December, daily temperatures in Kotor can reach 17°C, while at night they dip to 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Tue) so you can drive to Tirana.
