  • Original museum, as it was the house of the Painter Sorolla. Admission costs three euros, and all the premises of the house are visited. Bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, the room where i painted. The house, in addition to having the furniture of the time, is an authentic museum of his paintings, since all the rooms are full of his works. At the entrance you also see the garden of the house which is a real wonder. A museum that may not be well known, but that is a real jewel of art.

  • Museo de Sorolla is a spectacular place in the heart of Madrid. Whose Andalusian courtyard conveys a lot of tranquility and peace. And the paintings of this extraordinary painter are unforgettable. I recommend visiting this place. I was there several times and I'd certainly come back again.

  • Superb museum! If impressionists are among your favorite painters you have to visit Sorolla where he lived with his family. Beautiful house full of great paintings and surrounded by peaceful gardens where apprentices try hard everyday to become the next great Spanish painter. I highly recommend to treat yourself with this experience. I believe that you won't regret it
  • The museum is his home. It is so intimate and warm. Not to mention free! The courtyards are lovely too. Stocked with beautiful paintings and sculptures, as well as antique furniture.
