  • We have been there just before the sunset and I have to say that was a great choice because we did not find a big cue. The view from the top is stunning and I never saw a sunset as that one before.  more »
  • Wonderful place. Really a tour not to be missed. The sunset seen from there is scenic. The day we went, the nature helped and beyond the sun setting it was possible to view the full Moon rising.

  • Visited at end of March, queues had already built up by 10am and had to wait and hour even though we had bought our tickets online, would still recommend you do so as saved a longer wait, cable car up...  more »

  • We did the sunset special where it is half price (R137) from 6pm to 8pm. It is AMAZING!! Highly recommend it, just make sure you take a jacket as it is freezing on top of the mountain and the wind is much stronger on top. The staff is also amazing. If you are going to do the special try to be there just after 5, as finding parking and standing in the queue took us an hour in total or better yet just book online.
  • Table Mountain is one of the main attractions of the beautiful Cape. In fact a visit to Cape Town without getting up here is not a visit. Where else can you get such spectacular views of the city? . It is a perfect spot for families, who can hike up or take a ride on the safe and ever reliable cable car (I'm afraid of heights, so I was very happy when I got to the top 🙈) , and enjoy a picnic or walk along the trails which lead to breathtaking views of the city. Couples can also have a great time here , table mountain is very romantic. A perfect place for a proposal. For great views, fresh air and relaxed atmosphere , do come to Table Mountain.
  • This is as most people know the most famous mountain in South Africa and it attracts thousands of tourists ever day. But what makes this mountain super cool is that no matter how many times you go up, there is always something different to see. As a local you can buy a membership card and this allows you one return trip every day. If you don't want to buy that but still want to go and see the sunset from the top, they offer a sunset ticket. This is from 6pm till 8pm and give you the amazing opportunity to just go and enjoy the most beautiful sunset. Don't forget you camera!
  • This is definitely one of the best places I've ever been to! It's amazing to hike up from the Lower Cable Car Station to the top of the Table Mountain. It's a quite hard hike but it will give you a good sensation once on top and you'll be proud of yourself. There are many trails (each one has his own characteristics and difficulty) that go up to the mountain and you can choose the one you prefer. Once on top you'll see one of the best panorama on earth. One big suggestion: try to be there at sunset time! You'll be delighted by that.
  • The place is truly spectacular. The views of the city and ocean are breath taking. Remember just few rules: take warmth clothing, the weather on the top is never like down. It can be colder and windy, better to take jacket off than freeze to the bones. Wear comfy shoes: flip flops is really stupid idea. Put sunblock on even if you are a badass. Go early if you hate waiting in line like 2 hours, even if you got tickets in advance. Behave, this is the National Park. Don’t pick up anything, please don’t litter. Enjoy in quite and let enjoy others.
