  • We took advantage of the use of the free tour guide at the gardens and were not dissapointed. The lady guide was filled with knowledge about the flora and fauna of the area. The tour is leisurely and ...  more »
  • The Botanical Garden is very large and spacious, so that we were often alone on the routes (visit in early November, in the morning - afternoon was already something more going on). The Botanical Garden is well suited to families, as many green spaces, exciting bridges, small ways and even and playgrounds on the spot. It copes well with the stroller.

  • I loved this place and could have spent days strolling around and taking in its beauty. Gorgeous scenery at every turn and so much variety. None of my pictures do it justice. This was not at the top o...  more »

  • Worth a visit from time to time. Gardens are well maintained. There are just so much to see that one can't even try to begin mentioning them all. Just make sure you've set aside a lot of time to enjoy this place. Rushing through here doesn't do it any justice.
  • Had a fantastic visit with guests from South America. Views absolutely stunning and the weather playing it's part as well. Went on the 1 hour golf cart tour of the gardens, which was another WOW experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew every plant, flower and tree by heart. Definitely do this when visiting the gardens, especially if you're not the walking type or have problems with your knees. There's an additional charge for this mini garden tour, because it's optional. If more info on the Garden is needed, then do the golf cart tour.
  • Gorgeous place. You can easily spend more than one day here if you want to see all of it at a leisurely pace. It's a good place to bring kids. Bring a picnic or buy one in the restaurant. I also noted that most areas are wheel-chair accessible. The whole are feels clean and safe. A great little escape from the hustle of Cape Town. Absolutely recommended.
  • Great place to hang out with family. So much to see and so much space for a family pick nick and kids to play. We really enjoyed chilling there. There is a fine restaurant if you need a good deal after a long walk.
  • What a lovely place to just chill and take in the tranquility of the beautiful surroundings. Stunning garden with a large variety of indigenous plants and bird life. The garden of extinction is also very fascinating by taking you into the past with dinosaur sculptures. The treetop bridge is another must see in the gardens. Looking down on the trees with the mountains in the distance is nothing but breathtaking ❤️
