  • South Africa's tallest building and the African continent. It is also known as Top of Africa. Despite being an excellent tourist spot the place is practically abandoned. There's nothing but pay and climb, but the view of the whole city pay. It costs 60 rands to climb. VERY important to stress that the region of the Carlton Centre is PERIGOSISSIMA! I chose to take the subway until the Park Station and walk, but had to give up. A lot of people in the streets, many people hardly seen, drugs and everything else. Along the way I started feeling insecure and couldn't call uber because they didn't want to go to the location (even though 15: with Sun). I walked into a store to buy water and the owner told me to come back walking. He said that tourists are robbed every day at any time and situation. When I arrived at the Carlton local security also questioned me what I was doing there and (tourists) walk me to get a uber running home. It is a pity that this security problem in Joburg. But the visit ended on. You can see all the angles of the surroundings and a series of points of interest.

  • Beautiful views of Johannesburg from the viewing platform, it is the tallest building in Africa, has 50 floors. A must. I highly recommend. Price of the ticket. It is best to visit with a guide.
