Witness a sustainable wine-making process and taste some of South Africa's renowned varietals at Stony Brook Vineyards. The farm produces relatively small quantities of different wines in an eco-friendly manner, minimizing pollution and putting an emphasis on organic production. Head to the special tasting room next to the cellar and try the proprietary cabernet sauvignon, which spends 32 months in new French oak and carries the name of the Ghost Gum tree--a fixture on the estate for more than one and a half centuries. Great place if you like authentic wine and people. The tasting is as simple as it should be without all the unnecessary fanfare of the other wineries we tried in the area. All wines we great, the people lovely and the prices good.
Very friendly staff. Excellent wine at pre-NeneGate prices. Will visit again!😀
