Meiringspoort Waterfall, De Rust

Surrounded by interesting rock formations, Meiringspoort Waterfall plunges 13 m (42.6 ft) into a pool below. Stroll in the natural scenery and take a dip in the natural pool formed by the cataract, which gets particularly full after rain. The interpretive center offers engaging information on plant and animal life, as well as the history of Meiringspoort. The hike leading to the fall features concrete steps secured by guard rails, but be careful as they can get slippery.
