Stroll along The Bund (Wai Tan) to become one with Shanghai's bustling crowds and take in views of the city's glittering skyline. The buildings lining this waterfront walk represent a broad variety of architectural styles, such as Gothic, Baroque, and Beaux-Arts. Take photos at the flood-control wall affectionately called the Lovers Wall and in front of the famous skyscrapers, including the Pearl Tower, whose pillars and spheres pierce the sky. 陽が沈んでから行ってみました。 ライトアップされた建物が光り輝いていてとても綺麗でした。 風が冷たく、これからの季節は防寒コートが必要ですね。 more »
I went after the sun sank. The illuminated building was shining and very beautiful. The wind is cold, and we need a cold coat in the coming season.View original

Probably the most important and must-visit site in Shanghai, especially at night as the light nights are stunning. Although it gets pretty crowded and you may have to squeeze through to find a space, it is very worth it as you can enjoy the stunning Shanghai skyline, including the World’s Second tallest building. It may be hard to get a nice photo spot but patience is important.

Worth the stop for sights, people watching and a waterside stool. I recommend you make a point to visit at multiple times during the day. Morning shows off the working status of the river - barges and cargo. Evening shows off light shows from both the buildings as well as boats. A must visit for any stop in Shanghai.
